Presidents Message

Picture
Coaches,

It is with great pride and humility that I take on the responsibility of president of the Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Association.  Following the many outstanding coaches that have held this position in the past is a daunting task, however, it is one that I will give my best effort.  Our association needs your help, supporting the many outstanding initiatives that we sponsor to support our wonderful student athletes and the great game of football in the state of Massachusetts.

Like any non-profit organization the MHSFCA needs to remain financially stable.  If each coach does their part and pays their dues we will be well on our way to fiscal stability.  Dues for this year are $30 per coach and information may be found under forms.  Our website has been revamped and provides coaches with a great resource of information for many of the projects our association is involved with.  Please download the invoice for dues and mail your check with invoice to: Paul Costello, Treasurer, 91 Delorenzo Drive, Duxbury, MA  02332.

In order for MHSFCA to grow and prosper we need each and every one of you to get involved.  There are many ways that you can become involved in “your” association.  Every league in the state of Massachusetts should have a representative that attends our monthly meetings, however, our meetings are open and all coaches are welcome.  New ideas are always desired and welcome.  There are many initiatives that we run in which volunteers are needed such as our State Coaches Clinic, the State Football Coaches Hall of Fame banquet, the Shriners Football Classic, the All State Super 26 Banquet, our College Combine, and many more.  It is our responsibility to make sure these, and the many other programs, continue to grow so that the student/athletes in our care have a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience playing the great game of football.

In closing, it is an honor and a privilege to represent all the Massachusetts coaches and to walk in the footsteps of past presidents whom I admire and respect. I would like to thank the MHSFCA for the opportunity to serve as this year’s president.

Best,

Raymond J. Cosenza, Jr.

President, MHSFCA
